December truly is the season for knowing Oneness. We know, of course, that our goal is to experience Oneness at all times, but the month of December offers spiritual celebrations around the world. All major religions and spiritual practices have ceremonies and days of reverence this time of year.

I have defined Divine Oneness as the state of sensing and knowing no differences between any or all of the components of Source, completely unified in thought and feeling, and not only desiring but also knowing only the highest good of the whole. Pure Oneness is the unconditional love of All That Is—everyone and everything.

Our country is not alone in its turmoil. Looking around the world, we see upheaval, discord, and a definite lack of love. While searching for 3rd-dimensional resolutions to the issues, we need to remember that true and lasting change comes from within. I have often quoted Martin Luther King, Jr. as saying, “Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.”

As you celebrate your version of this holiday season, look deep within and see where you still lack love. Who do you still judge? Who do you need to understand and forgive? And, above all, how much do you love yourself?

Focus on knowing Oneness this month. Fill your heart with love for all, no matter where they may be on their path. Know the glory of Divine Peace, Joy, and Grace. And, always remember that you are Source.
